David Guérin

David received a Masters in International Business, with Distinction, from Grenoble Ecole de Management. He has lived in 5 countries and speaks French, English and Spanish.

He has crafted a free 5-day email VC course to help people learn the VC ropes (www.MerciVC.com). It features a cheesy 80s theme to add some fun to the learning process! Hundreds of VC enthusiasts have taken the course so far.

David is a Principal at Brighteye, a European Edtech VC that invests at Seed and Series A stages. Since joining the firm in 2018, he has been involved in 40+ investments across 10 countries and has worked at both offices in Paris and London. He recently moved back to France from the UK to develop the Parisian office.

Prior to joining Brightreye, David spent 6 years in Mexico, where he led the marketing efforts of a social impact healthcare startup (Salauno), and as a management consultant at EY, working with clients across LATAM.
