Lucanus Polagnoli

Lucanus holds a Master's degree in International Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business as well as a Master of International Management from Bocconi University in Milan (CEMS).

Lucanus has a passion for digital solutions that improve our lives and has most likely hit the limit of the number of Apps "installable" on a phone. In his free time, you'll find him spending time with his wife and three children in Vienna (Austria), the most liveable city in the world. He enjoys racing sailing boats at Lake Attersee (his home turf) in the beautiful "Sound Of Music Land"

Lucanus is one of Europe’s most active early-stage healthtech investors with a proven track record in the industry: former consultant and private equity manager, startup operator, CFO and partner of Speedinvest, he founded Calm/Storm Ventures in early 2020 which became one of the most prominent emerging venture capital managers in Europe. Lucanus has a passion for digital solutions that improve our health and wellbeing. He believes in the power of community and the concept of life-long learning, thus he has joined the prestigious US program Kauffman Fellows. In his free time, you’ll find him spending time with his wife and three children in the most liveable city in the world: Vienna (Austria) as well as racing sailing boats at Lake Attersee, or as he calls it, “The Sound Of Music Land”.
