Education

Meg earned a BSc in Finance and BA in Spanish from Santa Clara University. At Santa Clara, she competed for the school's Track and Cross Country teams, served in the Global Fellows program through her placement in Kumasi, Ghana where she focused on microfinance for women, and studied in Seville, Spain. In 2015, Meg was selected as a member of Bloomberg Beta's second cohort of Future Founders.

Meg was born in Burlington, Wisconsin and now lives in San Antonio, Texas with her husband. She currently serves on the board of Alamo Angels, a local angel network, and enjoys her time working with San Antonio's community on various initiatives.

Meg Paulus is a Partner at HOLT Ventures, where she provides venture funding to teams aiming to disrupt the industrial landscape. Meg focuses specifically on those teams working on the future of distribution, service and manufacturing. Meg enjoys working with founders reinventing the industries in which HOLT CAT, HOLT Ventures' parent firm, operates. Meg also leads investment activities for the Holt Family and the Holt Family Foundation.

Prior to HOLT, Meg was with BlackRock Private Equity Partners, where she executed investments across venture capital, growth equity, and late stage private equity through direct, co-investment, secondary, and fund vehicles. Prior to BlackRock, she was an Equity Research Analyst at Quantum Capital Management. Meg began her career at Harvest Management Partners, a boutique investment bank.

Fellowship

As a member of Class 26, Meg is serving her fellowship at HOLT Ventures under the mentorship of Adele Oliva of Kauffman Fellows Class 3 and Dave Rosenberg.
