Rachel Springate
Rachel has a BA Honors degree in Public Relations from the top media school in the UK, Bournemouth University. The degree covered Politics, Economics, Law, Finance, English Writing and Marketing.
She has always taken education seriously, but like most things in her life chose very non linear paths and made building relationships a core focus of her career. This lesson comes from her mother. 1 of 10 children from the Philippines, her mother grew up on a farm with very little access to hot water, let alone education. Her mother was able to convince her way into an opportunity to work abroad in the UK where she worked as a hotel maid, cinema attendant and waitress, thankful for the opportunity to work unlike the rest of her family. Her parents met when her mother was waitress. She was stuck trying to open a bottle of wine when a charming English gentleman offered to help her and the rest is history. She taught never to take opportunity for granted and to give more than you receive. Lessons Rachel lives by each day.
