Adam Bristol
Adam obtained his PhD from Yale University and did his postdoctoral training at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He enjoys sabermetrics and volunteering, and has acted Off-Broadway and at the Yale Cabaret.
In 2010, Adam co-founded Aquilo Capital Management, a life sciences investment fund based in San Francisco, CA. Aqulio focuses on companies with an emphasis on new drug discovery and development.
Prior to Aquilo, he was a portfolio manager at Biotechnology Value Fund (BVF), where he helped manage BVF's venture investment activities and assisted in aspects of BVF's public markets investing.
Adam serves as a regular grant reviewer for the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, as a speaker at UC-Davis's Biomedical Entrepreneurship Academy, and as a regular contributor to Trade Secrets, an online blog published by Nature Biotechnology. He is a co-editor of the forthcoming book The Neuroscience of Creativity to be published by Cambridge University Press in 2012.
Adam is a member of Kauffman Fellows Class 14 and served his fellowship at Aquilo Capital with mentor Marc Schneidman
