Ajay Gopal

Ajay holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School, as well as Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineeringand a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics from Queen’s University. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. Ajay shares life with his wife and three small children in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. In his downtime, Ajay enjoys traveling, many recreational sports, including skiing, cycling and beach volleyball and is a hobby guitar player.

Ajay is a Partner of Framework Venture Partners, based in Toronto. Ajay is a nearly 20 year veteran in the VC, alternative investments and capital markets spaces. With an entrepreneurial background, Ajay is a partner of a healthcare services company currently in operation in Toronto. Ajay currently serves on multiple Boards of Framework portfolio companies including notable fintech companies such as ZayZoon and Countingup. Ajay’s background in engineering, business and finance is uniquely positioned to help companies across multiple functions in a truly applied manner. Ajay is keenly interested in engaging 1-1 with entrepreneurs on their scaling journey.
