Amer Al Ameri

Amer earned an MBA from the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School. His undergraduate studies focused on economics and finance, where he earned a degree from Pace University in New York City. He is an avid reader, outdoor enthusiast, and aspiring triathlete.

Amer Al Ameri joined ADQ in 2020 and is Head of Venture Capital & Technology Investments. He is a highly experienced investor having successfully deployed over $3 billion throughout his career. Amer is passionate about partnering with founders that are seeking to create structural improvements in industries at a global scale. Since joining, Amer has led the firm’s push into technology, covering investments across industries including fintech, digital health, e-commerce, as well as several deep tech opportunities. Previously, Amer held investment roles at other investment institutions. He also spent time supporting the Government of Abu Dhabi’s efforts to enhance the local innovation ecosystem through public policy and fiscal measures. Amer is a board member of some of the leading technology companies in the Middle East, as well as some of the region’s most established platforms in financial services and real estate.
