Education

Anarghya is passionate about diversity in tech and considers it a lifelong mission to get more women involved in technology and to increase diversity in both thought and practice in the field. In her spare time, Anarghya trains for marathons and performs as an Indian classical dancer with a dance company she founded, Vana. She is from Oregon, is a proud Stanford grad, and lives in San Francisco.

Professional

Anarghya is an engineer, turned product manager, turned venture capitalist.

Anarghya joined Maveron, a consumer-only venture capital firm specializing in seed and series A, in 2015. At Maveron, she spends her time understanding consumer and cultural behavioral shifts, identifying the billion dollar businesses that will emerge, and partnering with the right founders to help grow those startups into iconic consumer brands.

Before her venture career, Anarghya worked at Google where she was responsible for growing a multi-million-dollar ad revenue business for AdWords Express (local ads) through localization and internationalization. She also worked in product and business operations at several startups.

In 2017 Anarghya was named to the Forbes "30 under 30" list in venture capital, and was named the diversity award winner for outstanding work in diversity in her field across the entire "30 under 30" class.

Fellowship

Anarghya is serving her fellowship at Maveron under the mentorship of Maveron founder and Managing Director, Dan Levitan. She is a member of Class 23.
