Andrea Araneda
Andrea holds a Masters Degree in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management from Imperial College London, and a MSc in Bioengineering from Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez Chile. Born and raised in chilean Patagonia, she feels at her best combining city life with hiking, and has achieved high summits such as Mt Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Mt Toubkal (Morocco) and Citlaltépetl (Mexico). She currently lives in Mexico City with her husband and two rescue dogs Matilde and Bruno.
Andrea is Partner at Fen Ventures, a chilean fund investing early in tech founders building a better future for spanish-speaking Latam. Her career in Venture started out as a Senior Associate at Fen Ventures, at a time where the firm had only a handful of investments. She grew alongside with the firm’s evolution and became Partner after two years in. Before Fen Ventures, Andrea was briefly part of an AI company leading Business Development and before that worked for the Innovation arm of the world’s largest copper company (based in Chile).
