Andrew Artz

Andy graduated from Harvard with a degree in physics. He is the son of a Mexican-American mom and Army Officer dad, and grew up traveling around the world with the military.

Andy Artz is a partner at Social Capital. Social Capital is a Silicon Valley based technology holding company whose mission is to advance humanity by solving the world's hardest problems. It was founded by Chamath Palihapitiya in 2011 to invest capital across the company lifecycle, from early stage startups to transformational public companies. The platform is oriented toward long term ownership and has a strong investment track record and experience driving dramatic growth. Social Capital focuses on investing in fast growing companies creating significant disruption in multiple industries including healthcare, education, financial services, artificial intelligence and social media.

A member of Class 20, Andy served his fellowship at Social Capital under the mentorship of Partner Ray Ko.
