Andrew O'Neill

Born and raised in Ireland, Andrew holds a BA in History & Politics from UCD, executive qualifications in Finance from Trinity Business School, and in Venture Capital from the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business.

Andrew is a Principal with Act Venture Capital, a European early-stage VC firm. Based out of Dublin, Andrew is responsible for sourcing & executing investments into early-stage technology startups, across multiple domains with a particular interest in enterprise software, infrastructure, and security.

Andrew also manages the Act platform, guiding on strategy from fundraising to operations and talent across the portfolio of over 40 companies to support growth. Act has raised in excess of $500M across multiple funds and invests in early-stage technology companies from seed to growth stages within Europe.

Prior to Act, Andrew was a founder, having founded businesses in the retail and martech industries.

As a member of Class 26, Andrew is serving his fellowship at Act Venture Capital under the mentorship of John O'Sullivan.
