Brendan Mathews

He has an MBA from University of California-Berkeley and an economics degree from University of Virginia. He lives in Charlottesville, Va., with his wife and children.

As managing partner, Brendan is active in all aspects of Motley Fool Ventures' investing process, including sourcing, diligence, and portfolio management. He joined Motley Fool Ventures in 2018. Previously, he was a senior analyst in The Motley Fool’s U.S. investing team, where he worked closely with Motley Fool co-founders David and Tom Gardner on their stock picks. Prior to that, he was a manager in Accenture’s strategy practice.
