Christian Jølck
Christian holds a Masters in Finance and International Business from Aarhus University and is a proud INSEAD alumnus after having completed his executive degree at the institution. Christian has lived across the globe from Rio De Janeiro to London to Singapore, and likes to explore new parts of the world
When not with his wife and three kids, Christian enjoys spending time off-trail running or exploring nature. His personal commitment to sustainability in 2021 includes taking his children to kindergarten on the family's Christiania bike to further reduce his carbon footprint.
Before becoming an investor, Christian spent more than a decade as an industrial B2B operator with experience in driving commercial and digital transformation and advocacy for sustainability. Prior to co-founding 2150, Christian held leadership roles in global industrial B2B companies such as Coloplast and ROCKWOOL driving changes focused on commercial development, digitalization, and sustainability.
While working in healthcare he co-founded a company that invented a novel technology to diagnose malaria in a quick, cost-effective way. He also co-founded and chaired the board of SYNERGI, an organization focused on climate and energy efficiency bringing together key industry players like Danfoss, Grundfos, Velux, and others to lobby for Danish and European policy changes to extend to the Paris Climate Agreement. Christian previously served on the board of Aarhus University, and is currently an advisor to the Foundation for Climate Restoration based in California.
Christian is a member of Kauffman Fellows Class 26, and is serving his fellowship at 2150 under mentor Pär-jörgen Pärson.
