Dan Kerr

Dan received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Outside of work Dan enjoys dreaming up inventions with his two young sons and planning the next trip with his wife Anna.

Dan is a Partner at Flyover Capital where he leads the firm’s new investments. Dan is a native Kansan who returned to the Kansas City area as the early-stage tech scene was picking up steam. He has found an ideal match investing in and partnering with the region's growth-minded founders. In addition to serving as director and observer on the boards of several Flyover capital portfolio companies, he is an active mentor and advisor to founders around the region. In 2022 he cofounded an event called MidxMidwest, amplifying middle America’s tech and venture community. Prior to Flyover Dan was an operator several early-stage technology companies in the Kansas City area. He spent his early career in M&A and corporate development for a regional bank and as a financial regulator at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.
