Dan Kimerling
He graduated from the University of Chicago with a BA and MA (both with honors), and studied mathematical (analytic) finance at the University of Chicago Booth School of business for a year as a Booth Scholar.
Outside of his work at Deciens, he is a co-founder of Gutenberg Capital, a Real Estate investment company based in Albuquerque, NM. He lives with his wife and their dogs in Chicago and Albuquerque.
Dan Kimerling is the founder of Deciens, a venture capital firm that supports early-stage financial services. He is passionate about leading investments in transformative companies at the seed stage.
Prior to starting Deciens, Kimerling was co-founder and CEO of Standard Treasury, a YCombinator company that built leading API solutions for the financial services community and which was acquired by Silicon Valley Bank. He previously served as a journalist and analyst at TechCrunch, where he helped launch their conference business.
