Darío Villena is the investment director of has more than eight years of experience in product and venture capital. He is an expert in deeptech and has collaborated with international organizations such as the European Commission in the field of the internet of things (IOT).

He has worked in some of the top funds in the world like Seedstars or Giza, he is currently managing Kapita a retail vertical fund in Europe and Latam.

He has worked throughout his career in deeptech. Technology evaluator in Hello Tomorrow, South Summit and Shenzhen Global Competition. He is the author of reports on the state of innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems and professor of Information Systems in IE business school.
