David Chang

David graduated from the University Of California, San Diego with double bachelor degrees.

David, a second-generation venture capitalist, has a broad spectrum of passions and interests beyond his professional focus on technology and investments. He is deeply involved in the world of nootropics and bio-hacking, focusing on cognitive enhancement and promoting extended vitality. He is also a certified Crossfit Level 2 trainer.

In addition to his intellectual pursuits, David is an avid enthusiast of BJJ, olympic-lifting, golf, swimming, snowboarding and ice-mountaineering.

David founded MindWorks Capital in 2013 to invest and empower Asia’s brightest entrepreneurs to build transformational companies. MindWorks manages capital from university endowments, global asset managers, fund of funds, family offices as well as Asia's leading new economy entrepreneurs. The firm utilizes a Pan-Asia strategy to source direct investments in technology companies across both Greater China and Southeast Asia. The firm is headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Jakarta.
