Education

Diana earned an MBA from Harvard Business School in 2013. She holds a BS in chemical engineering, summa cum laude, from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and a graduate certificate in product creation and innovation from Stanford University. She is a black-diamond snowboarder and loves travelling to taste the coffee, wine, and cheese of the world with her life explorer, Julian.

Professional

Diana Maichin has over 15 years' domain knowledge in biotech, healthtech, diagnostics, and life sciences. Her experience spans financial and operational roles across Fortune 500 early stage companies, and interim CFO and COO roles at venture firms’ portfolio companies.

She was the founding COO (in conjunction with an EiR) of Drawbridge Health (stabilization and blood collection device) and Nuvera Medical (a 4D ICE technology), both which have since exited to Thorne, Biosense Webster / Johnson & Johnson MedTech, respectively.

Diana has incubated six companies which subsequently raised over $150M in venture capital financing and was co-founding COO of three. She has had over a dozen fractional COO, CFO, CBO and Board positions for Seed, Series A, and Series B stage companies, spanning company formation, fundraising, business strategy, operations, and financial management.

Diana enjoys snowboarding in the Alps, sailing in the Caribbean, and experiencing the wine and cuisine of the world.
