Eleonore Jarry-Ferron

Prior to joining VC, Eleonore worked in the Assurance & Advisory department at Ernst & Young LLP, focusing on alternative investment funds and private equity firms. She studied Finance and Accounting at HEC Montréal and completed a Management certificate at Stanford University. Outside of work, she is the proud co-owner of a hot yoga studio which keeps her grounded!

Eleonore Jarry-Ferron brings eight years of Venture Capital experience to her Partner role at Brightspark.She plays an instrumental role in fundraising, deal flow generation, deal making and portfolio management. Eleonore also contributes to the firm’s overall management and assumes a significant part in succession planning for Brightspark. Currently, she dedicates her time to both healthcare and climate sectors with a notable focus on portfolio companies such as Valence Discovery, Vetster, DrugBank, Elevate Farms and Deep Sky. Eleonore is involved in several initiatives to support a new generation of tech leaders in Canada. She co-founded Front Row Ventures and has been working with Canadian Women in VC and The Technovation Challenge Girls Program for many years. Eleonore helped Front Row Ventures raise more than $5M, empower 200+ future tech leaders and invest in a growing number of pre-seed companies. She continues to be a catalyst for the younger generation and devotes considerable time thinking strategically about how to change the face of the Venture Capital industry in Canada.
