Emma was raised in China before She moved to Singapore for her higher education. She holds a Master of Science from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. Emma is a CFA Charterholder. Emma is the Founding partner and CEO of LongHash Ventures, which is an Asia based Web 3.0 focused accelerator and VC fund. Longhash Ventures has invested in more than 80 leading crypto projects, including Polkadot, Filecoin, Dodo, and Astar. Emma is also a pioneer in Web3.0 ecosystem development and has collaborated with leading layer 1 protocols such as Polkadot, Filecoin, and Axelar in launching ecosystem accelerator programs. Prior to founding LongHash Ventures, Emma was a senior management consultant at McKinsey, where she helped financial institutions with their digital transformation and tech investment in Southeast Asia. Emma started her career as a banker, working for ANZ bank and Macquarie bank out of Singapore, Shanghai and Sydney.
