Estela Hernandez

Prior to earning an MBA in Design Strategy from California College of the Arts in San Francisco, Estela earned a Bachelor of Community Health from New Mexico State University and studied interior design with a focus on healthcare facility design at The Illinois Institute of Art - Chicago.

Estela is a leadership coach, strategist, and facilitator dedicated to empowering those who aspire to become the adaptive, innovative, and conscious leaders needed in our modern world. She has experience advising aspiring and emerging venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and political candidates. Estela’s superpower is broadening her clients perspectives to help them access their inner resources of awareness, creativity, and confidence to clarify their purpose and create thriving careers and lives. Estela draws on over 20 years of richly diverse experience as a venture capitalist, CEO/senior executive, innovation strategist, business designer, health educator and athletic trainer.She brings practicality into her work to guide clients in designing a more conscious and fulfilling life and in leading with vision, wisdom, presence, resilience and authenticity.

In January 2016, Estela launched Arrowhead Innovation Fund GP, Inc. (AIF), a venture capital firm focused on seed and early-stage investments in companies based in New Mexico. Estela served as President, Chair, and Managing Director of Arrowhead Innovation Fund for three years prior to transitioning to the role of Director of Regional Innovation Strategy through the end of her board term in June 2020.

Estela served her fellowship at Arrowhead Innovation Fund GP, Inc.; she is a member of Class 20.
