Everardo is a graduate of the ITAM (Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico), where he graduated with a major in economics with a specialty in finance. He has attended executive education at Kellogg School of Management (Corporate Financial Strategies for Creating Shareholder Value), Columbia Business School (Value Investing), and Harvard University (Capital Markets and Investment).

Everardo is Founding Partner of Capital Indigo, a Mexico-focused private capital firm. Capital Indigo is a Private Equity firm focused on equity and debt investments in Mexico. Through its funds Indigo 1 and Indigo 2PD, Indigo invests in high-growth mid-sized companies. With nearly 20 years of experience in finance, Everardo has led investments in private debt and equity transactions in diverse industries such as waste, media, food, real estate, e-commerce, among others. After a decade collaborating with GBM, Everardo founded Capital Indigo in 2009. Since then, he has steered Indigo's core efforts with the conviction that a proactive investment approach translates into superior returns. Everardo is a Member of the Board of all of Indigo's current equity portfolio and until December 2012, was a Board Member of AMEXCAP (Mexico's PE Association). He holds a BS in Economics from the ITAM, has executive programs in Kellogg and Columbia and is Kauffman Fellow (class 16).
