Gabriela de Salles van der Linden
Gabriela grew up in the countryside of southern Brazil, and now lives in Rio de Janeiro. She graduated in Business Administration with an emphasis in leadership and innovation, earned an Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral, and a specialization in Finance. Gabriela attended executive training from Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, and Babson College, in the areas of Venture Capital, Entrepreneurship, and Digital Transformation.
Passionate about innovation, entrepreneurship, and a cutting-edge science enthusiast, Gabriela is a board member of Impacto por Elas, a network of well-connected women that advocates on impact investment, diversity, and ESG practices. She is also a Reality Experience Alumni and a volunteer of Rede Postinho a NGO that provides mental health support to the most vulnerable women in Rio de Janeiro.
Gabriela has been active in venture capital since 2007, initially CRP Companhia de Participações, a pioneering VC firm in Brazil. Subsequently, she transitioned to the healthcare sector, first at D’Or Institute, launching its Open Innovation area, and later as a founding team member of Yaya Capital, an investment firm specializing in healthcare. More recently, she has taken on the role of Partner at Aggir Ventures.
Gabriela holds an Executive MBA from Fundação Dom Cabral and a specialization in Finance. She completed executive training programs at Stanford, MIT, Berkeley, and Babson College and
is also a Kauffman Fellow.
Gabriela, mentored by Susana Garcia Robles (Partner at Capria VC) and Brian Treslstad (Partener at Bridges Fund Management), is a member of Class 26 serving at Yaya Capital.
