Gita Sjahrir

Gita is a graduate of the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (MBA), the University of Chicago (BA), and a Master Candidate for Public Administration at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (MPA).

Gita Sjahrir is a serial entrepreneur for the last 12 years, and is currently a full time gender-lens investor and mentor in the Southeast Asian startup ecosystem. Currently, she holds board positions in various tech and energy companies, including EMP, a publicly-listed Indonesian oil and gas company. Previously, she held positions in finance and business development in the renewable energy space, including at AES Transpower. She is a board member for the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industries' (KADIN) Gender Equity Panel, and is on The Indonesian Ministry of Maritime and Investment Affairs' Carbon Market and Energy Transition Mechanism task force.
