Hernan Fernandez

Hernan holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a law degree from ITAM. Prior to Angel Ventures Mexico, Hernan worked as a consultant for Booz & Co. and as a corporate lawyer for pwc in Mexico and France. Having visited over 80 countries, Hernan is always passionate about meeting friends in the most random of places, exploring new foods and cultures, and understanding the up and coming trends of the global south where he can learn and or leverage what he does in Latin America. He lives (mostly) in Mexico City and always ready to host and travel.

Hernan is CoFounder and Managing Partner at Angel Ventures, the first professionally managed Angel Investor Network in the country and a Venture Capital Fund manager. With over 50 investments in different industries for well over USD 100M and Operations in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Bogota, Colombia and Lima, Peru, Angel Ventures is a leader in the early stage financing space in Latin America.
