Ian Beadle

Ian graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Business Finance, completed his MBA at the University of Southern California, and is a CFA charterholder. A native of Southern California, Ian now resides in the Bay Area with his wife and three boys. He enjoys spending his free time coaching youth sports, volunteering at his local church, and playing beach volleyball tournaments.

Ian is a co-founding Partner of Westbound Equity Partners, an early-stage firm investing in exceptional ventures led by underrepresented founders of color, founders addressing the needs of underrepresented consumers of color, and founders with a demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive cultures and building diverse teams. He is a generalist but is particularly interested in financial inclusion, climate change and adaptation, and aging and longevity. In his role at Westbound, he manages the firm's operations, oversees investment activities, and offers strategic support for portfolio companies. Prior to Westbound, Ian served as Principal at Littlebanc Advisors where he led growth and control investments in lower middle market opportunities in the FinTech, Ecommerce, logistics, and consumer industries, while playing an active role in the management of portfolio companies. Prior to Littlebanc, he served as the first employee of GrizzlyRock Capital, a long/short hedge fund focused on small and mid-cap public companies. Ian began his career working for Goodrich Aerospace (now a part of Raytheon) specializing in operations and finance, skills that enable him to provide hands-on support throughout the Westbound portfolio.
