Professional

Jason Portnoy is the Managing Partner of Oakhouse Partners, a firm whose mission underscores his deep commitment to discovering and supporting talented entrepreneurs pursuing important challenges. Prior to founding the firm, Jason spent his career contributing to some of Silicon Valley's most impactful technology companies.

He started his career at PayPal as employee number 34 while still a graduate student at Stanford. As a Vice President on PayPal's Finance team, he helped support the company through its hyper-growth, IPO, and subsequent $1.5B acquisition by eBay in 2002. Jason then gained privileged insight into the formation and rapid growth of asset management firms as part of the founding team of Clarium Capital, which grew to over $3B under management during his tenure, and as the first CFO of Founders Fund, whose early investments included Facebook and Palantir Technologies. Jason then acquired senior leadership experience as the first CFO at Palantir Technologies, where he helped guide the company's early culture, fundraising strategies and industry leadership positioning, and he later did the same for Practice Fusion.

Before Oakhouse, Jason was an angel investor in several ground-breaking companies including Facebook, Palantir Technologies, and Stemcentrix.

Fellowship

Jason served his fellowship at Oakhouse Partners as a member of Class 21 under the mentorship of Sham Sandhu, an independent advisor.
