Jefrey Joe
Jefrey was born in Palembang, a city in South Sumatra, Indonesia and has traveled to Jakarta, Singapore, Melbourne, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Boston and London both for study and work. Jefrey obtained his Bachelor degree from Monash University, holds MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and completed Harvard Business School’s Owner/President Management Program. Jefrey is an active member of Young President’s Organization (YPO) since 2018.
Jefrey Joe is the Co-founder and General Partner of Alpha JWC Ventures, a Southeast Asian early-to-growth stage venture capital firm that debuted in Indonesia in 2015. With deep Indonesian roots, Alpha JWC has invested in more than 70 companies and currently manages US $650m of AUM across three funds. Prior to Alpha JWC, Jefrey spent a few years as a consultant at The Boston Consulting Group and Ernst & Young and was the COO of Groupon Indonesia. Jefrey is passionate about entrepreneurship and loves working with visionary founders in their journey to building successful and impactful companies. He is an early board member in Indonesian Unicorns Ajaib, Kopi Kenangan and Kredivo.
