Jon Rezneck
Jon holds an MBA, with Honors, from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in Finance, Entrepreneurial Management, and Accounting; and an AB, magna cum laude, from Harvard College in both Economics and East Asian Studies. He has also studied in programs at the Stanford Kyoto Center for Japanese Studies and Keio University; he is fluent in Japanese.
Jon played in national junior tennis tournaments growing up, was ranked #1 in Washington, DC, and was also a sprinter on the Harvard track team.
Jon is a Partner, COO, and a member of the investment team at Geodesic Capital, where he covers the FinTech space, among other sectors. He is a member of the founding group of Geodesic.
Jon was previously an investment banker for over 10 years with both Greenhill & Co. (in Tokyo and New York) and JP Morgan & Co. He has additional investing experience with growth capital and buyout private equity. Jon served as Director of Business Development and a member of the senior management team of Crowley Technologies, a wireless telecommunications venture development company with interests in Europe, South America, and the US, backed by The Blackstone Group.
Jon is serving his fellowship at Geodesic Capital as a member of Class 24. His mentor is John Roos, Founding Partner of Geodesic Capital and former United States Ambassador to Japan.
