Professional

Julian Eison invests in whole person health, which includes preventive and acute health care innovation, both enterprise and consumer. He's passionately driven by investing in entrepreneurs who are exposing industry inefficiencies, omitted or misunderstood historical facts or processes, and closing generational gaps.

Julian's relationship with venture capital has evolved as his exposure to various modalities of value creation has expanded over time.

He believes success shouldn't always be articulated in ways that emphasize earning potential, but also value human enablement and net positive impact. Through his work, he's led investments in Humane, Vital Biosciences, Mood Health, OK Capsule, Trial Library, Terra, Juno Medical, SteadyMD, Oura, Genopets, Adaptyx, Prose Foods, and Pair Team. Julian sits on the board of virtual primary care businesses SteadyMD and Pair Team.

Julian was the Managing Partner at Next Ventures, and prior to that, he was the founder and CEO of Eison Triple Thread, a premium consumer brand where he developed FITS, a product recommendation engine that leveraged customers' musical preferences to drive product acquisition. Before his time as a founder, he spent 6 years at Golden Gate Capital, a private equity firm with $19 billion in committed capital, focused on deal diligence and technology.
