Education

Kelly earned a BA in Sociology and Economics from Bowdoin College, where she also played on the varsity volleyball team. She later completed her MBA at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business where she founded and led organizations dedicated to helping women students break into VC and startups. A New England native from Stratford, Connecticut, Kelly has lived in three countries and nine US states, and now resides in Eau Claire, Wisconsin near her husband's business. Kelly enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, traveling, and spending time with her family, including her 19-month-old son and nearly 4-year-old daughter.

Professional

Kelly Goldstein is a Partner and Head of Platform at 53 Stations. Previously, Kelly played a foundational role in building HQ Digital LLC, a subsidiary of Digital Currency Group, where she established the private investment platform, launching four funds and strategic SPVs. At Harlem Capital (“HCP”), she contributed to fund development as the second full-time hire, sourced and led investments in seed stage companies, and initiated the Diversity Marketing Consortium, providing portfolio companies with pro-bono marketing services.

Prior to receiving her MBA and pivoting into early stage investing, Kelly’s career began in brand development at Edelman and Unilever. Kelly’s time at Unilever culminated in leading a partnership with Vital Voices, investing in women social entrepreneurs, which was the catalyst for her move into full time investing.
