Kerry Wei

Kerry earned her MBA degree from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Finance degree from MIT.

She currently resides with her husband and their baby boy in San Francisco. She enjoys exploring local bakeries, hiking, and rooting for Warriors at Chase Center. However, at present she is more likely to be found investigating how best to get a baby to sleep through the night.

Kerry Wei is a Principal at Prysm Capital where she provides growth capital to disruptive management teams across technology and consumer markets. Investing across stages, Kerry is passionate about partnering with innovative teams and being a trusted thought partner to help them achieve their vision and potential. She has helped lead Prysm’s investments in Ergeon, Chowbus, POW Interactive, and Outerspace among others, serving as a board director or observer.

Prior to Prysm, Kerry was at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where she led teams and executed due diligences in industries such as enterprise software, consumer technology, and services. She also partnered with management teams to transform their businesses, especially on go-to-market strategy, pricing, corporate development. In addition, she has spent some time at a consumer food start-up helping the founder across marketing, sales, finance and operations, where she experienced first-hand the joys and struggles of entrepreneurship.

Outside of Prysm, Kerry is also an active cohort lead for All Raise cohorts, as well as leading certain AAPI founder & investor intiatives around the Bay Area.
