Kirill Varlamov
Kirill earned his master's degree in 'IT for management' at Ural State Technical University. He obtained his Executive MBA at the Moscow School of Management Skolkovo.
Kirill is an IT entrepreneur and investor, and currently serves as General Partner for IIDF (Internet Initiative Development Fund). With 400+ investments made, IIDF is the most active Russian VC fund and accelerator. IIDF invests in pre-seed, seed, and Series A stages, accumulating investments in the most successful companies while they grow, such as PM&HM, Promobot, Brandquad, Texel, and many others. IIDF provides, as a development institution, a variety of educational programs for entrepreneurs, investors, and big corporations.
Kirill also lobbies for law changes in the Russian jurisdiction to improve the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
From 2001 to 2013, Kirill co-founded and served as CEO of the business software development company NAUMEN, a Russia-based vendor of applications such as soft switch, help desk, and several AI-based products. In 2011 NAUMEN was recognized as the fastest growing software development company in Russia, and among the top 100 IT companies.
Kirill is serving his fellowship at IIDF under the mentorship of Alexander Galitsky, Managing Partner at Almaz Capital Partners . He is a member of Class 24.
