Matt Roberts

Matt earned a BSBA degree from The Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Matt is an avid traveler having been to over 45 countries and as a Chapel Hill native, bleeds Carolina Blue and is a walking wiki of the UNC-Duke basketball rivalry.

Matt Roberts is a Co-Founder and Partner at Prysm Capital where he provides growth capital to disruptive management teams across the technology, consumer, and healthcare markets. Investing across stages, Matt prides himself on working with - and learning from - innovative entrepreneurs who are improving everyday lives.

Prior to Prysm, Matt spent nine years at BlackRock Private Equity Partners where he invested in market leading companies across the U.S and Asia and was a founding member of the team's Hong Kong and San Francisco offices. During this time, he served as an Observer to the Board of Directors of Chewy, Healthchannels and Travel Leaders Group, a Director for American Express Global Business Travel and Guardian Alarm, and on the Executive Board of the NFLPA One Team Collective.

Prior to BlackRock, Matt was part of the Leveraged Finance group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he partnered with middle market companies to structure credit facilities.

Matt is a member of Class 23, serving his fellowship at Prysm Capital under the membership of Muhammad Mian (Class 22).
