Misbah has been closely involved with Invest2Innovate (i2i), i2i Ventures sister company and an ecosystem builder in the startup space in Pakistan, as an Advisory Board Member since its inception in 2011 and is currently on its Board of Directors. She is also a Board Member at U Microfinance Bank Ltd, a leading microfinance bank in Pakistan, as well as Edkasa, an edtech startup and i2i Ventures portfolio company. Misbah is passionate about giving back and is a Trustee on the Board of AAS, a non-profit that provides treatment, rehabilitation and aftercare to adults and children suffering from substance abuse and/or addiction and is on the Board of Advisors for NOWPDP, a leading disability inclusion organization in Pakistan.

Misbah holds a BBA (Hons.) and an MBA from Institute of Business Administration, University of Karachi. She is also a Certified Director by the Corporate Governance Leadership Skills Program of the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance.

Misbah Naqvi is General Partner and Co-Founder at i2i Ventures, a pre-seed and seed stage venture capital fund and the country's first female-founded VC fund, focused on high-growth tech startups solving big problems in Pakistan,

i2i Ventures has invested in Abhi, CreditBook, Oraan, Tazah Technologies, Truck It In, TelloTalk Inc., Edkasa, ezBike and more. The fund provides a unique value proposition to its portfolio companies by leveraging its GP's experience in the Pakistan startup space, and its sister entity Invest2Innovate's ongoing startup entrepreneurship support programs and comprehensive ground-breaking research on the market.

Misbah has over two decades of global experience in corporate finance, entrepreneurship, impact investing, fintech and development in Pakistan and the US.

Previously, Misbah was Head of Global Market Development at Boloro Global Limited, a US-based fintech startup licensing a multi-factor and multi-channel authentication and payment service platform, where she worked extensively with the company's partners in Pakistan, South Asia, the Middle East and Africa. She has worked at Acumen (in Pakistan and the US) an impact-focused global venture capital fund investing in social entrepreneurs, and a pioneer in the impact investing space. Misbah started her career at Citibank in 1998, where she worked in Transaction Banking and then Corporate Banking, managing a portfolio of over $100 million in credit relationships with multinational companies for the bank. She was subsequently the Public Affairs Officer for Citigroup Pakistan for several years.
