Ross Strike

Ross has a Bachelor’s degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University. He enjoys international travel, running, reading and meditation.

Ross Strike is a founding member of the venture capital team at British International Investment (‘BII’, formerly CDC Group plc), the UK’s development finance institution. He has led investments in over 10 venture capital funds across Africa and South Asia. He has also made direct investments in several early stage companies including TeamApt, mPharma and TradeDepot. Ross is passionate about the potential of entrepreneurship and innovation to create more productive, inclusive and sustainable societies. He has over a decade of experience in emerging markets investing, ranging from seed stage venture capital to large cap M&A and IPOs. Prior to BII, Ross worked with Citigroup’s Investment Banking division in Toronto and London where he was involved in a wide range of capital markets and M&A transactions.
