Sasha McKenzie

Sasha earned her M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration the Ohio State University. She is a member of Black VC, Black Women in VC and AllRaise and is deeply passionate about diversity in tech as well as the broader venture capital community.

Sasha McKenzie is Deal Principal at Wellington Management where she will be focused on investing in Seed through Series B+ opportunities from founders who have been historically excluded from access to capital, as well as emerging fund managers.

Prior to joining Wellington, Sasha helped launch a venture capital firm, H Venture Partners. While at H Venture Partners, Sasha invested in science-based consumer brands, consumer technology and digital health companies working on or leading approximately 10 investments including Cerebelly, Felix Health, Parsley Health, Avaline, Prima and Hazel.

Previously, Sasha was an investment banker at Bank of America in the Global Consumer & Retail group where she executed mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings and debt financings for Fortune 500 companies. She also was a consultant for RR Donnelley helping enterprise clients optimize their supply chains and logistics.
