Shailendra Singh

Shailendra received an MBA, with Distinction, from Harvard Business School and a BTech in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mumbai.

Shailendra is a Managing Director with Sequoia Capital India and focuses on investments in Internet, IT and IT-enabled services, and financial services industries. Shailendra's current investments include: Interactive Avenues, Travelguru, SCIOinspire, GlobalLogic, Pangea3, Edelweiss Capital, and Guruji.

Prior to joining Sequoia 2006, Shailendra was a strategy consultant at Bain & Company in New York where he worked with senior management of Fortune 500 companies on issues of customer segmentation, pricing, and growth strategy. Prior to Bain, Shailendra was co-founder and CEO of a venture-backed offshore outsourcing company in the digital media space. Shailendra also worked in the telecommunications practice of Deloitte Consulting.

Shailendra is a member of Kauffman Fellows Class 11 and completed his fellowship under mentor Sumir Chadha at Sequoia Capital India.
