Snehal Patel
Snehal holds an MD from the Columbia College of Physicians & Surgeons and a JD from Columbia Law School. In addition, Snehal completed his internship in surgery at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School. Snehal is an avid traveler who enjoys tennis, golf and running, when he finds the time.

Snehal Patel is the Managing Director of Saena Partners, a venture studio based in Singapore.
In that capacity, he has co-founded seven angel and venture-backed companies in sectors
spanning healthcare, F&B/lifestyle to financial services, companies like MyDoc, Southeast
Asia’s first regional insurance-focused telemedicine company which the firm exited last year.
A Kauffman Fellow, CFA Charterholder and 6X Forbes Asia 30-under-30 judge, Dr. Patel
moved to Singapore from the US to found and lead the healthcare team at the Clermont Group,
a multi-billion dollar investment fund, where he led the procurement and management of
investments across South and Southeast Asia.
Prior to the work at the Clermont Group, Dr. Patel practiced law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore,
LLP in New York City. Dr. Patel received an MD and a JD from Columbia University and served
as a Clinical Fellow at the Harvard Medical School. In addition to multiple board and advisor
roles, he currently serves as a Faculty Affiliate of the Center for Primary Care at the Harvard
Medical School and is a Life Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
A member of Class 14, Snehal performed his fellowship at the Richard Chandler Corporation in Singapore.
