Steven Tsao

Steven holds a Bachelor of Science in information and computer science from the University of California, Irvine, and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Steven also spent a year studying at Peking University as an exchange student.

Steven Tsao is a Principal at Miven, a single family office based in Orange County, California. In his role, Steven manages the family's alternative investment portfolio with a specific emphasis on leveraging the family's technology background within venture capital. Steven is particularly excited by ideas that have the potential to fundamentally change the way we live, and believes today's venture capitalists will be the biggest winners of that change.

Steven is also the Chief Financial Officer of the Tsao Family Foundation, which is focused on supporting children's programs at the intersection of health and education.

Prior to Miven, Steven worked as a research analyst at a startup hedge fund in Hong Kong, Credit Suisse, and Deloitte Consulting.

Steven is a member of Class 24 and is serving his fellowship at Miven under the mentorship of Jodi Sherman Jahic (Class 5), Managing Partner of Aligned Partners.
