Tal Tochner

Tal has a BA in international relations and Asian studies from Hebrew University in Jerusalem.

Passionate about education and impacting the next generation of leaders, she founded three education and leadership platforms, sits on the advisory board of AJC Access and Outbox, and serves as a mentor to some of Israel's leading entrepreneurship programs and accelerators.

Tal was featured in Forbes' '30 Under 30' list in 2017.

Tal has been active in the startup ecosystem, helping venture-backed companies scale globally and identify strategic opportunities for almost a decade. Tal is currently a Principal on the Investment Team at PICO Venture Partners, an early-stage fund operating in Israel and the US. At PICO, Tal leads investments across all software-enabled sectors, serves on several boards, and supports portfolio companies on growth trajectory.

Prior to her role at PICO Venture Partners, Tal was one of the youngest Investment Partners at Tel Aviv Capital, where she led the technology department and focused on direct, M&A, and secondary deals as well as corporate innovation for some of the world's leading enterprises. She was also part of the founding team at WMN, and held business development and operating roles at the Israel-Asia Center.

As a member of class 24, Tal is serving her fellowship under the mentorship of PICO Partners' Founder and Managing Partner, Elie Wurtman.
