Terhi Vapola
Terhi Vapola received her D.Sc. degree from Aalto University. She also holds degrees in Technology Management and Industrial Economics, and in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Terhi Vapola is a result-oriented venture capitalist with the focus on green transition, climate tech, digitalization, internationalization, and business growth. She is Founder & Managing Partner of Greencode Ventures, a venture capital firm focusing on the most impactful European early-phase digital-first green transition startups. Most recently before this, she founded and headed Helen Ventures, the investment arm of a leading Nordic energy company Helen, where she led its creation from the initiation to a strong portfolio across Europe all the way to its first portfolio exit. Prior to this, she has worked as Managing Director of sustainability focused investment firms, co-founded multiple startups, and contributed to the rapid global business growth of Nokia in multiple operative roles ranging from R&D, product management to sales and acquiring startups.
