Highlights from the Kauffman Fellows LatAm VC Summit

Last month in Mexico City, we gathered over 315 Kauffman Fellows and the most talented startups and community members from across LatAm to learn about some of the biggest lessons and challenges across key sectors, including climate and sustainability, Web3, crypto, fintech, eCommerce, impact investing, and more!

We celebrated LatAm’s maturing startup scene. With its mega-rounds being announced at breakneck speed and new unicorns minted almost monthly, proven successes such as Nubank, Clip, Rappi, and Kavak joined us to share what it takes to win in LatAm.

We welcomed influential entrepreneurs — including Gina Diez Barroso, Adolfo Babatz, Mariate Arnal, Alejandro Ramírez, and more — who are tackling the world’s toughest climate challenges, revolutionizing blockchain technology, and building out the newest internet frontier.

We explored CDMX and fostered deeper bonds through shared cultural experiences with floats down the canals of Xochimilco, explorations of the Teotihuacan pyramids, and tours of ancestral cultivation and agroecological practices.

We celebrated Class 23’s graduation from the two-year Kauffman Fellows Program!
